Calehill Farm Fresh

Farmers Brittney and Andrew (and their three sons Travis, Emmett and Mason) farm together with Brittney’s family near the small town of Orton. Farming runs in the family for both Brittney and Andrew and they continue the tradition raising their kids (the 6th generation) on the family farm! They are excited to be returning for their fifth season at the market with the chicken you know and love. They are adding to their product offering this year with their own homegrown beef and partnering with Rooted Living (also family) featuring produce and preserves. They love to chat food!! Stop in for cooking inspiration, share recipes or try out something new!

Pillitteri Estates Winery

Pillitteri Estates Winery

For Gary Pillitteri, the opening of Pillitteri Estates Winery in June of 1993 was the culmination of a lifetime dream. Since arriving in Canada from his native Sicily in 1948, and through many years as a grape grower in Niagara and amateur winemaker, his goal had been to open his own winery.

The turning point took place five years earlier when Gary won a gold medal for his Icewine in Niagara’s amateur wine competition. He knew then that he could make his dream come true. But he had been thinking about early retirement and could only build a professional and high-quality winery with the expertise and full commitment of his family.

Pillitteri Estates Winery is truly a family enterprise: Gary’s son Charles is C.E.O. President of Sales, daughter Connie is C.F.O President of Operations, daughter Lucy is C.M.O. President of Marketing, son-in-law Jamie Slingerland is Director of Viticulture while grandsons Richard and Jared are the V.P. of Sales and Export Manager respectively.

Sola Gratia Farm

We are Sola Gratia Farm, located in Melancton, ON. We have a passion for feeding our family with healthy food to live a wholesome life, free of lingering illnesses or health issues. We are so happy for the opportunity to extend our passion for healthy food to the communities around us. In a day when we hear of possible food scarcity, we are happy to not only provide food, but to offer healthy food to those around us. Food that is free of chemicals, herbicides, GMO, antibiotics etc. We care about the health of our soil, so it is important for us to maintain healthy soil organisms by using organic and natural inputs to feed the soil life. This in turn gives us fruits and vegetables that are packed with minerals and nutrients that will help keep us healthy. We also offer value added items like dried herbs and apple cider vinegar, made from the items we grow. We are looking forward to the opportunity to serve the community of Erin at the Erin Farmers’ Market 2023.

Smokey Hollow Farm

Smokey Hollow Farm has been raising English Angoras for over 30 years. Our animals not only have exceptional warm wool but are also top award winning show rabbits. Angora wool is very light weight and about nine times warmer than sheep wool. Our wool is harvested humanely by shearing it off the rabbit with scissors or gently lifting it off them when they are shedding their coats. They are not harmed in any way to harvest the wool. The look of angora wool is very fur like and so soft. We offer angora fibre and blends in batts, roving and also hand spun yarns. Our yarns have won numerous awards at USA shows, Angora Nationals, and The Royal Winter Fair. We also feature art cards by Photographer and Artist Julie Martin, a local Hillsburgh resident. Julie can also be seen spinning the yarns at the market or knitting up garments! Our products are made by hand on our Hillsburgh farm from rabbit to yarn/garment. We look forward to another season at the Erin Farmer's Market.
